Elise is a director and stage manager based in the New York/New Jersey area. Her theatre journey began as a stage manager in high school and continued throughout her college years. As a graduate of Kean University, she received a B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology. In her senior year, Elise co-directed dEAD dOG pARK with Megan Tobias for KTC Second Stage. dEAD dOG pARK was nominated for Best Direction of a Play in the 2019 BroadwayWorld NJ Awards and directing became a passion for Elise.

Since then, Elise's directing credits have included a staged reading of Wipeout and the main stage production of  Paradise Blue at Gloucester Stage Company;

Assistant Directing RENT in Concert with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center under the direction of Sammi Cannold;

Associate directing the site-specific one-woman show Bitch Boxer under the direction of Emily Moler;

Directing No History, a one-man show written and performed by Reynaldo Piniella, and a reading of Oversteegen by Megan Tobias. Both shows focus on the importance of amplifying history through the eyes of those who have been erased.

Elise remains passionate and enthusiastic about every show she works on.

Her constant positivity and general optimistic outlook provide a relaxed workspace for everyone. Her primary goal in the entertainment industry is to uplift and amplify the voices of marginalized groups. As a Black woman working behind the scenes, it's important to Elise to be able to see people from all walks of life represented on stage as well as off.
